BFA and MFA Fall Exhibition Opportunity

In Fall of 2020, MoFA will host a curated show of works by the BFA and MFA 2020 graduates, curated by Meredith Lynn, Assistant Curator and Director of Galleries at FSU. This exhibition will run from August 24 through September 25, 2020, and offers an opportunity to celebrate our Spring 2020 graduates and provides a professional exhibition opportunity.

Meredith Lynn will select works for inclusion in the show and notify students by April 24. Each student who submits will be included in the exhibition.

If guidelines and procedures established by the University allow for students to drop off work in person, MoFA will receive that work throughout the summer and store it at the Museum until the exhibition.

When choosing which work to submit, students should consider that they will not be present during installation. Do not submit site-specific works. Submit only what can be installed by MoFA staff. All work must be onsite at MoFA by August 15th. On April 24th, when you are notified with work selection, we will include up to date instructions on artwork drop off and shipping.

This form is due April 15.

  • Your statement should address the work you submitted to this exhibition and place it within the context of your broader practice.
  • For example, does it need to be installed in a corner? Does it hang from the ceiling? Do you need a pedestal of a very specific size?
  • You can upload jpegs or a pdf with links to video. Images must be in jpeg format, no longer than 1500px on the longest edge, and no more than 5MB each. Your files should be saved as Lastname_Firstname_01, Lastname_First_02, etc.
